Viewing yourself through God's eyes!

As a female in this society, we struggle with body image and self-esteem more than others. Daily, I struggle with the constant comparing of myself to other women around me. From the uneven tone of my skin, to my not so flat tummy, and even the texture and thickness of my hair. However, as I begin to grow into my own skin I'm starting to realize that the constant comparing doesn't benefit me in any way. In my walk with Christ, I strive to learn more and more of who he is so that I may find myself in him. When I'm constantly comparing myself to others, I miss out on understanding how God sees me. Body Image and Self-Esteem have the most impact on a person's well being. By definition body image is a person's perception of their physical self and the thoughts and feelings, positive, negative or both, which result from that perception.
